Once in the kitchen the Bachelor was a little dumbstruck to see himself.

"Damn, I’m early," said the Bachelor.

"What are you doing here?" asked the Bachelor.

"I’m you after you come back. You’re about to go into the future and meet yourself."

"How did you know—" but the Bachelor stopped short.

One of the Bachelors left the kitchen and joined the others. The other Bachelor, the one who came into the kitchen for some spongecake, adjusted the dials on his watch determined to meet himself in the future.
