He hadn't taken any notice of the two figures who brushed past him in the supermarket, but now when he looked at his wrist the Bachelor knew something was wrong.

"I’ve lost my watch."

"Do you need to know the time?" offered an attractive girl standing next to him in the check-out queue.

"It’s not that," said the Bachelor getting agitated and looking around furiously for the watch, "my watch did more than just tell the time."

"I’ll help you look," she said.

The girl looked everywhere with him but the watch was not to be found. The Bachelor was disappointed but he thanked her for her kindness.

"What's your name?"

"Candy."

"I'm Justin." replied the Bachelor before inviting Candy to a small gathering at his pad that night.

Candy said if she found the time she would come, and even bring dessert. Maybe an edna spongecake.
